The FEI Rider rankings for the end of March 2025 have been released, which, once again, sees no change at the top of the Australian riders. Paris 2024 Olympians hold down our top three places with Edwina Tops-Alexander remaining our top ranked rider in 183rd place, up 4 spots. Thaisa Erwin remains in second place on the Australian rankings at 263rd, up 39 places, while Christopher Burton lies in third, at 597th.

Further down the list there have been a number of riders make significant progress up the rankings. Of our overseas riders, a series of solid performances in March has seen David Cameron advance 101 places to sit, with just four Australian riders above him, in 780th place. On the local front, riders who performed well in the World Cup Qualifiers held at Shepparton and Werribee have seen this influence their rankings. The winner of both World Cups, Gemma Creighton was seen a massive raking change, up 448 places to now be ranked 1,194th, the eleventh highest ranked Australian. Similarly, Amelia Douglass rose 433 places into 1,721st spot. The rise of Madeline Sinderberry to 2,258th place was as a result of a leap of 377 places after a strong start to the 2025-26 World Cup season, where she currently occupies second place on the leaderboard.

On the Under 25 riders front, there has been a change at the top of the rankings. Amelia Douglass, who last month slipped to second place, has regained her position as Australia’s highest ranked Under 25’s rider, up 134 places to sit at an even 400th on the rankings list. United States based Zoe Brown is now in second place, ranked 512 down 17 places. Thanks to her previously mentioned World Cup success, Madeline Sinderberry is up 110 places to 577th to be our third highest ranked Under 25’s rider.
