The win by Gemma Creighton in the second Leg of the Australian World Cup Season, has rocketed her to a clear leader on the point score table. Coming into the Werribee leg, she was carrying 17 points by virtue of her win at Shepparton and by securing the maximum 20 points at Werribee, she sits atop the table on 37 points.
Madeline Sinderberry holds down second place on the table with 23 points after picking up 11 points in Werribee to add to the 12 she was awarded in the first leg. Third place on the table is currently held by Phillip Lever, just one point behind on 22, after his fourth placing gained him 15 points. Also picking up points in Werribee was Brook Dobbin, who added 8 points thanks to a tenth-place finish to see him on a total of 18 points in fourth spot.
The big mover of the competition was Amelia Douglass who was competing in her first leg of the season. Her second-place finish earnt her 17 points, placing her in fifth spot on the point score table, where she is well placed given that the four above her have accrued points in two legs so far.
